  2. Hi DGD:

what is the gist? I was not able to retrieve it. But to be Honest DGD, dont put too much attention on it. Because, I dont think that it will pass considering that a lot Americans felt that the Health Care reform was shoved to their throats and poll shows it 50% againts and in favor of it. With the unemployment is really tough nowadays, ergo; it will really be difficult. Unless, Obama feels it then he will do it and let us see what August brings. But he dislikes foreign nurses, so there you go.

  4. hey ramzenger,

He basically said "CIR is DEAD" due in fact to what you said, the healthcare bill was shoved down some senators' throats and therefore they are having a "tea party" sort of thing to try to stop it but, well, it will never happen. Then again, just like what Savana said, the healthcare bill has been pending since Senator Kennedy (rest in peace) became a senator, got sick and died. Lets just hope CIR doesn't take THAT long or until Graham too develops terminal illness? One thing for sure, the shortage in nurses will sky rocket!

  5. Hi DGD:

Savana's comment is correct. Because a lot of people thought that it will not pass even big corporation thought it will not that was why they got a big surprise when it did pass and it will cost them a lot, to democrats and big businesses.

But another side said that it will cost more to small business than the big ones, which hospitals and ltc's belongs. Figure that out.

There is a sense of kamikaze mood here by the democrats. A lot of them will have a tough fight surviving comes November but then again so is McCain. The American People just hate big government right now and big establishment.

But you see, if they will pass immigration bill into law, that is just a Pyrrhic victory to them.

The healthcare law is different because of Obama's mother died due to insufficient coverage of healthcare insurance and so it is very close to his heart. But with immigration, with the unemployment so high, where is the sense on that?

I dont think it will pass but then again, I hope im wrong as same with my predictions that VB will be current on 2012 even that will not be probably true because it might be later to 2014.
